 About the Book 

John Herlihy was born in Boston, Massachusetts of Irish-American parents. He attended Boston University and Columbia University in New York City before leaving the US for the life of an expatriot, spending many years living in Europe, Middle East and Far East. He published his first book in 1990 and since then has gone on to publish a variety of non-fiction works that deal with the challenges of living a life of spirituality in our anti-spiritual world. He has two works published by World Wisdom Books (Books: Borderlands of the Spirit and Wisdoms Journey). He has also written a collection of in-depth travel essays (book: Journeys With Soul) that recount journeys he has taken in such places as India, Ladakh, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia. He works as a professor of Academic Writing at a university in the Middle East.
